Van Pickup is on Whidbey Island, Wa. If needed, we may be able to accommodate special arrangements. Please contact us directly for any specific pick-up needs. Otherwise, please see van pick-up details Here
Can I book the Van Rental Directly through this website?
We use the website, Outdoorsy, to manage all of our booking. It’s great and very easy to use. It’s like the airbnb for camper vans!
Do I need to purchase insurance? What if I have my own?
Purchasing Insurance is a requirement for booking our van through outdoorsy. It is affordable, offers peace of mind for both the renter and van-owner. Unfortunately, you cannot opt out of the insurance requirement.
What do I need to pack?
We provide all of the basic camping gear for your trip. This includes: a north face double sleeping bag, 2 pillows, an extra blanket, 2 camp chairs, cook stove and fuel, cooking equipment, biodegradable soap and sponge, plates, bowls, cutlery, 2 travel coffee mugs, coffee cone and filters, 2 headlamps, small lantern, a lighter, , 2 quick dry towels, fire extinguisher and first aid kit.
Optional Items include: an assortment of travel books and games (contact us for specifics).
You will need to bring only your clothing and personal items. Consider the weather for all of your destinations and pack your clothing and footwear accordingly.
You may bring additional gear if you like, but space is limited in the van and our experience is that less is often more.
Keep it simple and pack light!
